In recent times, awaiting approval icon has become increasingly relevant in various contexts. Is it appropriate to use 'eagerly' while ending a formal e-mail. All true, but depending on context, "eagerly awaiting" might come across as a somewhat impertinent request for promptness (or even any response at all). For example, if you were emailing a senior politician who mightn't have the time or the inclination to respond to every email he gets. Why do you want to improve your English?. 0 Awaiting to welcome you sounds wrong. If you should use the word "awaiting", then I think, "Awaiting your arrival" sounds better. If the prefix "a-" means not, shouldn't "await" or "awaiting" mean .... then why does await or awaiting not mean "not waiting?" I read this earlier question (Is there a real difference between wait and await?) but this seems interested in the meaning.

One word other than "inbox" for a temporary storage space. That Pending means *awaiting decision or settlement** implies that one wants to "hold [onto] something temporarily ", until " [one] can figure out what to do with it," i.e., make the awaited-for decision or settlement implied by pending.
