Also Labs4Rescue is listed on the AKC list as a rescue organization and American Lab Rescue is not. It may be due to American Lab Rescue is an all-breed rescue organization and Labs4Rescue rescues labs and lab mixes only. Has anyone ever dealt with Labs4Rescue in Connecticut?

Equally important, just wondering if that was a reputable place to get a lab. From another angle, adopted a 2.5 yr old Chocolate from Labs4Rescue.... This is my first post here.

I helped my parents adopt a 2 and a half year old chocolate lab from the organizations Labs4Rescue.org. We are up in Massachusetts, while the dog we adopted is from Texas. We were looking for a low to mid energy lab to meet the needs of my parents who are both 60... Stupid people sometimes...

I am pretty active with Labs4Rescue, which is were Lexi came from. One of the gals here in PA is really jumped into doing stuff & sent out an email on NYE about a 1 year old chocolate female she was trying to get pulled from a SC shelter. In this context, anyone have a yellow lab/great pyrenees mix dog? Was wondering in general how big they get (this is a boy) and how badly they shed. I know labs shed and goldens shed worse. Ive never seen a great pyrenees in person and was wondering if the shedding is as bad as a golden perhaps?

Are Chocolate Labs rare? Are Chocolate Labs rare, or not as common as blacks and yellows?
