The issue with installing old versions of Garmin maps is that they generally install MapSource (mapsource.exe) in a different location than newer versions.Typically, the older versions (Topo 3.02 for instance and certainly Roads and Rec) install mapsource.exe to C:\Program Files\Garmin.
