If you pick one of them, for instance, East Asian, then you reveal the first flaw of the term: you could literally just say "East Asian Art" and be more concise and ... The justification I heard is that Oriental is used for objects like rugs so it's dehumanizing to use it for people. In the UK though Oriental is still in use and is not considered offensive.
